What can VCI do now?
Quick Action
Don't want to look at the complicated control panel? Use Quick Action.
Just pinch the indicator point, then move your hand horizontally or vertically.
You can complete the most commonly used functionalities of smart home devices using quick action.

Gaze + Voice Command
In cases you prefer not to raise your hand, you can still choose to use VCI's Voice Command system.
By looking at a smart home device, VCI knows which device you want to control, and provides personalized suggestions of possible commands.

Full Control Panel
There will be complicated interactions that cannot be done through quick actions or voice commands.
Pull out a full control panel that is designed for a smart home device from its indicator point to perform all possible interactions.

Smart Trigger
VCI will perform automation when specific behaviors are triggered by your AR glasses. Examples are wearing glasses, starting to watch a movie, receiving a phonecall, taking off glasses, etc.
VCI will adapt to your personal preference, and the environment so the behavior is consistent wherever you are.

Notifications
VCI will remind users about automation or other IoT behaviors through the notification system.
You can perform voice commands to interact with notifications.

Authentication (Future Work)
With iris scanning or other biometric authentication methods available on AR Glasses, AR Glasses will represent your digital ID.
With VCI's authentication system, different levels of access to the smart home devices will be guaranteed to different users.

Proximity Control (Future Work)
Spatial control Interfaces will only appear when you are near smart home devices. They are even faster and easier to use.
